A Letter From Our Pastor

Dear Church Family,

It is October and we’ve had our first little taste of Fall with a few cooler nights and less humid air.  It is one of my favorite times of the year.

Fall is a busy time for us and we have lots of activities going on around the church.    Please check out the calendar for activities and  events planned for this month.

Also, let me encourage each of you to take a little time out of each day to sit outside on your porch or patio and reflect on the goodness of God.  So often, we get too busy to stop and take account of the blessings we have, both small and large.  Reflect on the little things (which I guess aren’t really little) like the changing of the seasons and how magical it is.  While it seems like an everyday thing to us, God designed it to serve a purpose.  You see, the changing of the seasons are part of the growth and life of all living things and is necessary for everything to prosper.  It is the same with our lives.  Different seasons teach us things and help us to grow.

So let me close by saying take a moment to reflect on the marvelous job He has done with the plants, the animals and especially with us.

God’s blessings to every one of you,

Brother Bo
