We have survived the Youth Lock-In and Airsoft War! It was a fantastic time with our youth and an awesome outreach event! We talked about becoming men and women of God at the Lock-In and discussed spiritual warfare at the Airsoft War. Thank you for being a church that supports and loves our youth and children.
In regards to our children’s ministry, we will be having a VeggieTales night on Wednesday, February 6 at 5:30pm for our children and youth. We’ll be serving vegetable soup and grilled cheese sandwiches and will also have a vegetable tray available. We’ll be showing the VeggieTales movie, “Lettuce Love One Another” which is based on 1 John 4:7. Our youth will be acting as “big brothers and sisters” to our children with the goal of developing a mentor-type relationship with them. This is an excellent opportunity for our youth to reach outside of themselves and to serve others.
In closing, I want to echo my last sermon by encouraging you all to please continue to pray for ministry opportunities. Seek God’s face and spend time in prayer seeking His vision for our church and seeking His will for each of our lives. Pray for ways to serve in His church. Then, be obedient to His leading, free from fear!
Love you guys!
In Christ,
Robert
