Wow, it’s spring already! That is, if you go by what the temperature says. We haven’t had much winter this year, but you know what they say about March… in like a lion and out like a lamb. We always seem to have some of our iciest weather in March. I would like to have snow but not ice because I tend to lose power when we have ice or heavy winds. Oh, and lets not forget Daylight Saving Time on March 10th.
Enough about the weather… Let’s get around to the important things. Easter is in March this year and I think it’s important that we focus our attention on our Savior at this time of year. We all know Easter is a celebration of our risen Savior. Just like winter is dead, spring brings new life. A risen Christ brings us new life. So as we go throughout this month, make preparations to celebrate Christ who came, died and rose again for our sins.
We have a lot going on in March. Of particular interest: the Easter Cantata, the Maundy Thursday foot washing service, our annual Easter Egg Hunt and the Sunrise Service. Please keep an eye on our weekly Sunday Bulletin and the monthly Contact for dates and times.
Just want each of you to know how much I love and appreciate all of you.
In Christ Love,
Brother Bo
