A Letter From Our Associate Pastor Of Youth

Dear Church Family,

It seems as if I start my letters the same way each month, with disbelief at how fast the year is progressing.  But, can you believe that it is time for Easter already?  I absolutely love this time of year.  We remember our Lord and Savior and His ultimate sacrifice.  Because of His death and resurrection, we can have eternal life and a right relationship with God the Father.  We should be living each day with that truth in the forefront of our minds.

Since Easter is only a few weeks away, we are busy making plans for our children’s ministry.  We will have our annual Easter egg hunt on March 30th from 10:00am to 1:00pm for infants through age nine.  We will be sending out the children in three separate age groups to hunt eggs in three predetermined areas based on their ages.  This is done for safety and to allow each child a fair shot at finding eggs.  It also allows for ample opportunity for pictures!  Please have your child bring a basket and six candy-filled eggs.

We will also be showing a VeggieTales movie that shares the true meaning of Easter and how it is about so much more than candy and eggs!  Food and refreshments will be provided.  Additional information will be given throughout the month including signup sheets for volunteers and a list of food items needed for lunch that day.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your willingness to serve.

Love you guys!

In Christ,

Robert
