It’s hard to believe it’s May already. Spring is slowly turning into summer and hot weather will be on us before we know it. While I’ve said in the past, Fall and Winter are my favorite times of the year because of football, hunting and cold weather. As a “fat boy” I don’t like hot weather! Spring is also a special time of the year to me… The time where everything dead and dormant seems to come to life. It’s a good reminder that things are not always as they seem.
Spring reminds us that even though there are times in our lives when things look bleak to continue to have faith. So often, it’s Gods way of letting things rest just waiting to come back more beautiful, stronger and vibrant than the season before. Our spiritual lives are this way. It’s the wintertime (dark times) when God is preparing us for new growth spiritually, to be deeper rooted and stronger than the season before.
So as you watch the plants grow in the spring be reminded of what God is doing with our lives in different seasons.
I want to remind all of you to check the calendar.
In Christ’s love,
Brother Bo
