A Letter From Our Associate Pastor Of Youth

Dear Church Family,

Let me open by saying how much I love and appreciate each and every one of you all and how grateful I am for your willingness to help with our Children and Youth ministries.  Thank you for loving and encouraging our students!

Well, summer is just around the corner and with it, the excitement of summer camp!  Dixon State Youth Camps kick off this month.  Adventurers Camp, for 3^rd – 5^th grades, will be Tuesday, May 28^th through Friday, May 31^st.  The cost is $175.  Senior High Camp, for 9^th – 12^th grades, will be Monday, June 3^rd through Friday, June 7^th.  Junior High Camp, for 6^th – 8^th grades, will be Monday, June 17^th through Friday, June 21^st.  The early-bird rate for both the Senior High and Junior High Camps is $135.  Please note that the grades listed are for grades completed.

As mentioned in last month’s letter, we are taking our children (ages 4-11) to Jackson to the Mississippi Children’s Museum.  We will leave the church at 8:00am on Saturday, May 18^th.  Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a parent.  We will spend the day at the museum, eat at McDonalds, and then return home by 6:00pm the same day.  If you are interested in going on this trip, please let Mrs. Romona or myself know.  The cost of the trip is $8.00 plus money for food.  The last day to sign up will be Sunday May 12^th.
