It’s September and things are getting back to normal after summer. Our Men’s Bible Study and Ladies Bible Study are back in full swing, as well as our Wednesday night youth. Our youth group were out during the summer for camps and vacations, so the numbers were sporadic. With school starting back there is consistency in our schedule. While I love summer and the break it brings, there is something comforting about the day in and day out schedule. Knowing what’s coming each day of the week is good not only for our youth but for the adults as well.
This brings me to my main point. As Christians, we need consistency in our lives and we receive that from our Heavenly Father who never changes. That being said, we need to be consistent in everything that we do because our children and those around us should not receive mixed messages from us. We should always be doers of The Word and not just hearers.
Let me close by saying thank you to all of you who are involving yourselves in ministry, being the hands and feet of Christ. Your efforts will lead to people being saved.
