At the writing of this letter, we just celebrated the first day of fall. I can remember as a child loving the first cool days, knowing that soon we’d be celebrating all the different holidays. For a child who liked to eat and disliked school, fall and winter was a magical time. Fall Festivals meant candy, Thanksgiving was a week out of school and the start of hunting seasons meant fresh game. Of course there was my mother’s and grandmother’s dressing, ham and turkey. Come to think of it, this time of year is still a magical time to me. I think the change in the seasons is such a happy time for many people. December brings back fond memories of childhood and get-togethers. I was blessed to grow up in a loving family that enjoyed time together and I’m doubly blessed now to be part of a church family that loves to fellowship and spend time with each other. God designed us to enjoy the company of our family, biological and spiritual. In Hebrews 10:24-25, we are encouraged to fellowship, to love on one another and do good deeds for each other. As we celebrate the upcoming holidays of the next two months, take time to fellowship and remember how good God is that he gives us people to love and be loved by.
Love you each and every one,
Brother Bo
