A Letter From Our Pastor

Dear Church Family,

I’m so grateful to be a part of a good and loving church.  You overwhelm me with your kindness for others.  So often you hand me money for people that you know are in need and you don’t want to be recognized.  Then there  are those of you that give of your time to help others that are less fortunate than you.  On top of that, you do things like Operation Christmas Child in hopes that a child that you’ve never seen will hear the good news of Jesus Christ through your gift.  And while all the things that you do are thought about and mentioned more during Christmas, you do them year around.  Thank you for truly showing your faith by your deeds.  All through James chapter 2, especially 14-26, James tells us that if you have faith then good deeds will follow.  Not that deeds will save you, but they are a testament of your love for Jesus Christ.  In Matthew 32:36-40, Jesus tells us the two greatest commandments are to love your Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind and to love your neighbor as yourself.

Let me close by saying that I thank God for each and every one of you.  I’m praying that you have a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Please check your calendar for upcoming events and remember, Christ is the reason that we celebrate.

Yours in Christ,

Brother Bo
