A Letter From Our Associate Pastor Of Youth

Dear Church Family,

Happy New Year!  Can you believe that we are already starting a new year?  Last year absolutely flew by!  This year is going to be an exciting one for our youth as we will be attending International Youth Convention (IYC2014) this summer.

IYC2014 will be July 5-8.  We will have a meeting on Sunday, January 19^th at 3:00pm for all youth and parents who are planning on attending IYC2014.  This is a mandatory meeting.  We will review the conference itinerary, complete the registration paperwork, discuss the payment schedule, and answer any questions that you may have.

January will start out rather slow as we “recover” from last month’s events with the pace picking up towards the end of the month.  We will have a youth movie night on Wednesday, January 29^th.  All youth are to be at the church at 5:30pm for pizza.  We will have our youth Lock-In on Friday, January 31^st at the church.  The lock-in will be kicked off with a concert by “Stone Water” (https://www.facebook.com/StoneWaterBand) and special guests “Cross Word” (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Cross-Word/512516425505271).  The concert will begin at 7:00pm; the lock in will start immediately after.

Our annual Airsoft War will commence the following day; Saturday, February 1^st at Brother Bo’s house.  We will be leaving the church at 10:00am and will take the van out to Brother Bo’s house for the war.  There will be a short devotion at 11:00am with the war starting soon after!

In closing, I would like to challenge you all to commit to prevailing prayer in 2014.  Pray continually, pray for revival, seek hard after God.
