A Letter From Our Pastor

Dear Church Family,

I’m looking forward to April with the warmer weather, trees and flowers blooming but most importantly, Easter.  More than any other holiday, Christmas and Easter should be paramount.  As the rest of the world tends to focus on other holidays like Halloween and subvert the true meaning of Christmas and Easter, we at the church need to always stay focused on the reason for the season: the birth of our Savior and His resurrection, which brought victory over death and sin.  Praise God for an awesome gift!

I’d like to draw your attention to our April calendar, which is getting very full.  Some highlights are: the Kari Jobe concert in Jackson on Saturday the 5th, the One Way Quartet on Sunday the 6th, our Passover Meal on Thursday the 17th, the Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday the 19th and of course Easter Sunday on the 20th.  Also, other things are going on this month but I just wanted to highlight the bigger events.

Let me close by saying I’m grateful that we are a busy church and that we have a lot of special events, concerts, etc.  However, we should never allow being busy to get in the way of the real ministry of seeing people come to Christ.  John 4:35 reminds us to open our eyes and look to the fields, they are ripe for the harvest.  Continue to pray for each other and love each other.  I love you each and every one. Enjoy the events and invite people to church to hear the gospel and get saved.

In Christ’s Love,

Brother Bo
