A Letter From Our Pastor

Dear Church Family,

I’m writing you this month not about the activities or the busy summer we are having, but to urge you as Christians who are called by Christ to share the gospel.  Jesus tells us in Matthew 28:16 to go and make disciples of all nations.  This is not a suggestion, it is a command.  So you see, as Christians we cannot sit by and not share because it makes us uncomfortable.  We are called to preach the good news by our words and by our actions each and every day.  We live in a world that is very self-centered and with a “what’s in it for me” attitude.  While this may be okay for the world, it is not okay for us.  We are commanded to serve.  Jesus tells us in Matthew 22:36-40 to love the Lord first and our neighbor second which includes our spouses, family, friends, etc.  This leaves us being third.  It is my strong belief that if the church (not just Community Chapel) would follow what Jesus called the two greatest commandments in the great commission, we would experience revival like never before. Let me close by saying to prayerfully consider if you are living by those commands and if not, ask God to show you how.

Love you each and every one.  May God bless you.

In Christ’s love,

Brother Bo
