A Letter From Our Associate Pastor Of Youth

Dear Church Family,

It has finally arrived!  International Youth Convention (IYC2014) is only a few short days away.  Our kids are excited, our leaders are excited, and I now ask that you be in continued prayer for our trip.  Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  Pray that our students’ hearts will be open and prepared for this potentially life-changing experience.  Pray that they would encounter God in a real and tangible way.  And finally, pray for traveling mercies to and from Nashville.

IYC2014 is certainly this month’s biggest event; however, Vacation Bible School (VBS) runs a very close second!  Our dates for VBS are July 14^th – 18^th from 9:00am to 12:00pm for ages 4-11yrs.  Our theme this year is “Weird Animals – Where Jesus’ Love Is One-of-a-Kind.”  Like we did last year, we will have a pre-registration table set up in the back of the church.  Come by, check us out, and get your children pre-registered!   If you have any questions, please contact the office at 601-442-8215 or my cell at 601-870-2802.

In closing, I want to thank you for all you do to support our children and youth ministries.  Because of you, our students were able to attend State Youth Convention; because of you, they were able to go to Summer Camp; and because of you, they are able to attend IYC2014!  You are providing them with opportunities to hear the Gospel and experience God in very unique ways and for that, I am eternally grateful!  Thank you for investing in them.
