As I write this letter, Vacation Bible School has just wrapped up. We had a fantastic turnout and are grateful for your hard work and dedication to our children’s ministry. Children are the future of our church and are close to the heart of God! We look forward to working with them and to creating a vibrant children’s ministry.
Our youth are still meeting on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings. For our Wednesday night service, we have introduced a new base format with a different themed topic each week with fifth Wednesday’s being movie night. Wednesday nights will be outreach oriented with the services geared towards evangelism. Our Sunday school class will be geared towards discipleship. My vision is to disciple our youth so they can disciple others. We want to make disciples who make disciples and at the same time fulfill the Great Commission of Matthew 28:19!Finally, April and I want to thank you all for giving us this opportunity to serve the children and the youth and to fulfill the ministry that God has called us to do. As I said to you all in May, this has been the most humbling experience of my life and I am eternally grateful for your confirmation of our call. We love you guys and are so excited about this next chapter in our lives.
