It’s hard to fathom that school has already started. The summer is ending and hopefully cooler weather won’t be too far behind!
As you know, September is the start of our new church year. This next year is going to be an exciting time in the life of our youth group: State Youth Convention, Young Christians’ Weekend in Branson, Summer Camps, lock-ins, and local events like Airsoft for the guys and “Girls Night Out” with April for our young ladies. We want to provide opportunities for our youth to encounter God and to develop lasting, accountability-type relationships with each other.
We will also have our first youth fundraiser this month. “Family Fun Day” will be September 9th beginning right after the morning worship service. This will be a fun-filled afternoon of games, food, and fellowship. Hamburger and hotdog plates will be sold with proceeds going towards our Youth Fund. We hope to see you all there!
Don’t forget about our annual Fall Festival as it will be here before we know it. Please stay tuned for future announcements regarding this event.
