Dear Church Family,
Wow, what a month! July was an absolute blast for our youth and children’s ministries. International Youth Convention (IYC2014) was everything that we had hoped and prayed for and so much more! The combination of the music, concerts, speakers, conferences and the chance to worship with 5,000 students and leaders from across the United States resulted in a life-changing experience for our youth. They were challenged to live in-tune with Christ and His Spirit. Thank you all so much for making this trip possible for our students!
According to all accounts, Vacation Bible School was a huge success! We had a great turnout and are grateful for your hard work and dedication to our children’s ministry. As we’ve been saying and will continue to say, there was absolutely no way it could have been pulled off without you all. We were able to share Jesus’ one-of-a kind love to the children in our community! Thank you so much for investing in this ministry.
Finally, August means the end of summer break and the start of another school year. I would ask that you please remember our students and teachers in prayer as they begin a new year. Pray for protection, wisdom, discernment and courage to take a stand for Christ. Also, pray that our students remain in-tune with the Holy Spirit.
